The Orion is Ridley's entry level full carbon bike. I use the term 'entry level' here, but this bike is far from entry level!
The Orion features a full carbon frame made up of 24 Ton High Modulus Carbon. The Orion uses a monocoque carbon construction which is very strong, but at the same time it absorbs road shock. The fork is a 4ZA R-Blade carbon/aluminum fork with aluminum steerer tube and dropouts.
Shimano's 105 group makes up all of the drivetrain duties, with the exception of an FSA Gossamer 50/34t compact crankset. The cockpit is made up of Ridley's own 4ZA components.

The Ride
The Ridley Orion is not only a great bike for folks just getting into cycling, it also would satisfy seasoned riders. The Orion is light enough to tackle any mountain and stable enough to come back down. Shifting and braking is both crisp and precise thanks to Shimano's 105 groupset.
